The set contains two identical original filters: one extract-air filter and one supply-air filter. Each filter has nine pockets. Check the unit identification and the existing filter dimensions before ordering. Compatibility with other models or generations has not been confirmed.
What the filter set protects against
Filters are listed in extract → supply order:
- 1 x M5 extract-air filter: reduces dust and airborne particles reaching the ventilation unit from the indoor air
- 1 x M5 supply-air filter: reduces outdoor dust, pollen and other airborne particles in the incoming air
M5 is a former EN 779 class; both filters are M5 according to the supplier specification. An exact ISO 16890 efficiency has not been confirmed for these filters. These particulate filters do not remove gases or odours.
Use and maintenance
Switch off and isolate the ventilation unit before maintenance. Replace both filters, observe the airflow markings and check that the metal frames fit and seal correctly. Make sure the pockets can open freely.
Inspect the filters regularly and follow the unit's manual and the filter-change alarm. A typical replacement interval is 3–6 months, depending on operating conditions and filter loading; replace them sooner when necessary. Do not wash these disposable bag filters.
Manufacturing quality
This set contains original Salda FMK pocket filters with metal frames, supplied by Salda. Both filters have the same dimensions, nine-pocket construction and M5 class. The set combines two individual original filters into one complete replacement for the extract and supply air streams.

The code identifies the original individual filter, not a separately verified manufacturer-packaged two-filter kit.
